Are You Starting Your Own Business?

Congratulations on deciding to become a marketer.  No, that's not a typo!  Whether you are going to be a window cleaner, plumber or accountant, the fact that you own your business makes you a marketer!  You are now responsible for finding customers and for keeping them.

How good you become at marketing will determine how successful your business is.  You might be a great plumber or accountant, but those skills alone won't make you rich!  If you turn up late to fix the leaks or fail to build rapport with your clients your business will struggle.  If you fail to let people know how great you are, or if you charge more than the value you deliver, your business simply won't grow!
